The Day Nursery is licensed by the Village of Oak Park and the Illinois Department of Children & Family Services to operate as a full-time day care for up to 77 children ages 2 to 6 years old. The Day Nursery is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). NAEYC is a national organization working to improve the well-being of young children from birth to 8 years old by ensuring high quality educational and developmental services. The Day Nursery is one of only 5 other accredited childcare programs in the area that has met NAEYC's stringent requirements for providing a high quality preschool education through an educated, trained and professional staff.
